Organization Mission: To honor and preserve the rich tradition and history of the West Virginia State Police.

Area of Interest: Law enforcement history, specifically that of the West Virginia State Police

Facility: West Virginia State Police Archives Originally the first classroom at the Academy, now contains collection of photos, news articles, weapons items, etc. Collected since the inception of the State Police in 1919

Hours: 8am-4pm for tours

Directions: I-64 to exit 50 at Institute. Left on West Virginia Rt. 25 for .6 mile to Academy Dr., follow signs to Academy

Programs: Tours are available to groups upon request in advance
